Signs you need a new mattress

* You wake up tired, stiffness, and have aches and pains.

* Your mattress has large dips or is just falling apart.

* You sleep better somewhere else.

* Your body has changed and needs a different kind of support and comfort.

* Your mattress set is older than 8 years.

Choosing a pillow

Choosing the proper pillow will greatly enhance your experience with your new mattress set. The right choice will vary depending on your size and your sleeping position, and ideally will work in conjunction with your mattress to provide head to toe support. When factoring in these things, you will experience great results with your new pillow.

How important is sleep?

It used to be that waking up on the wrong side of the bed meant you felt a little tired or groggy due to a bad night's sleep.  These days research shows us that simply getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep per night isn't enough.  What's important is getting 7 to 8 hours of good sleep.  For example, studies on the health benefits of nourishing sleep show us that people getting less than 7 hours of good sleep per night are 3 times more likely to get sick from exposure to a cold virus.

Good sleep - it's just what the doctor ordered!

Sweet Dreams Little One

Many children sleep on the same mattress from the age of 3 years old to well into their teen years. So while they may only weigh 35 lbs for their first night on this new bed, their body weight will most likely triple by the time a new mattress is needed! We advise parents to take a moment to realize just how important this decision really is. Children are recommended to get atleast 9 hours of sleep each night, and often spend hours relaxing, reading, daydreaming and giggling on this new mattress as well.

What is the most important factor in selecting a mattress?

Firmness? Spring count? Price?  These are all important questions.  However, without context, the answer will often be misleading.  The most important factor (and most often overlooked) in selecting a new bed is: YOU.  Your body type determines which mattress will suit you best.

What's good for the goose...

Open minded shopping

We all shop for things everyday that we know very little about.  None can be more frustrating than shopping for a new mattress.  A safe assumption would be that the more expensive an item is, the better it must be.  This may not necessarily be the case in mattress purchases.  We understand that this may be counter intuitive, but making a selection on a new sleep surface must be about comfort, not price.  The “best” mattress, in most cases, is not going to be the most expensive one; it will be the most comfortable one.  We all have different support

Choosing the correct pillow

You need the proper Sleep Equipment. Your pillow is secord only to your mattress in helping you achieve better sleep.

TOO THIN.
* Causes the head to fall out of alignment
* Adds presure to the shoulder, which can cause shoulder stiffness

TOO THICK.
* Forces the head out of alignment
* Reduces the size of the airway, which can lead to snoring

JUST RIGHT.
* Aligns the head with the shoulders, hips, and heels for full body postural support

Mattress Protectors

A mattress protector is a removable piece of bedding that will either cover or encase the mattress. Its purpose is to protect the mattress as well as provide a healthy sleeping surface. Due to its waterproof nature, a mattress protector does not allow spills to penetrate or stain the mattress. This is important because if moisture seeps into a bed it can damage the foams causing compaction which will form body impressions. Body impressions are one of the primary reasons people are obligated to purchase a new mattress.
